Sprouting Seeds
Start with fresh organic seeds. These will probably need to be purchased from your health food store. Organic is important to assure that they have not been irradiated to kill the enzymes.
Get a clean quart jar and piece of cheesecloth large enough to cover the top of the jar with room to rubber band it in place.
Now you are ready to go.
Place two to three tablespoons of the seeds in the jar and cover with room temperature water overnight.
In the morning, drain the seeds. Rinse with fresh water and place at a 45 degree angle to counter top to drain through out the day. Later in the day, rinse again and place to drain. Continue this process twice daily for 3-5 days or until sprouts are desired size for eating.
Be sure to keep the rinsed and draining to prevent mold growth.
If your seeds had hulls they should be removed of better taste.
