Elaine’s Nut (Almond) Milk
Combine 1 cup of your favorite RAW nuts (I prefer almonds) with about 1 ½ cups purified water. Let soak at least 4 hours.
Drain the water off and throw it away.
Combine nuts with 3 cups purified water in the blender.
Blend until creamy (about 2-3 minutes on liquefy.)
Add a pinch of stevia to sweeten (may add more to taste) or you may use maple syrup if stevia is not available.
“milk” may be strained before using saving the pulp for muffin recipes or drink it as a thicker “milk” now.
Store unused portion in the refrigerator. It will keep at least 2 days and usually up to 4.
