Apple Butter

5# tart apples
2 cups cider
1- 1 ½ cup raw sugar
¾ tsp Ground ginger
½ tsp allspice
3 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg

Cook apples in cider til soft. Puree in blender
Add other ingredients and cook over low heat
Until sugar dissolves, and mix “sheets” off a spoon. (About 15 minutes after simmer.)
Can or freeze as desired.
